2009 Car show success!

As the sun shone through the cloudy skies of Townsville on Sunday the 32st of May, the faint sounds of engines rumbling could be heard from the BP Truckstop at Cluden. Over 70 vehicles joined this year's 'Super-Cruise' beginning at the Cluden-based truckstop and arriving at Bluewater's Community Hall at approximately 9:00am via Townsville's new Ring-Road.

As the 'Super-Cruise' arrived at the hall, it was already clear that this year's event would be a success as spectators and more competition registered vehicles were waiting anxiously for the doors to open and the fun to begin.

The successful 2009 Bluewater Ute, Car & Bike Show saw approximately 200 vehicles pass through the gates in to the field for the show'n'shine event and a further 3800 members of the community, and surrounding areas, passing through the front doors.

The Bluewater Ute, Car & Bike Show committee would like to thank all the participants, sponsors, market stall holders and spectators for thier continued support and look forward to seeing you again next year!*

A special thanks goes to all the volunteers from the Bluewater Community Association and those who put in an exceptional effort to make this year's event a huge success!
